Changing the Acceptance Criteria during the Sprint

I have a question regarding changing the Acceptance Criteria during the Sprint.
Is it ok to update the Acceptance Criteria during the Sprint. We have a story that state John Smith must confirm connectivity with Jane Doe. Jane Doe is from a different team. Because of vacation of Jane and their own testing they cannot confirm connectivity until beginning of next Sprint. All other items on AC have been met according to developer. I try not to change the A/C if at all possible. I will get the PO approval beforehand and this story is not going into production until next month.
