What is one thing you wish you could know when you started as new Scrum Master?

  • 0
To All Scrum Masters:
When I reflect back on the knoweldge I had when I started my journey as a Scrum Master and knoweldge I have today, there is big gap.
E.g.-
1. Daily scrum is a status meeting
2. Not having Sprint Goal
3. Updating JIRA/ADO board
4. Giving solutions for all impediments
5. Focusing more on velocity chart
And many more..
Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new. It’s a journey of continuous improvement.
And as they said Scrum is easy to understand but difficult to master.
What is one thing you wish you could know when you started as new SM?
one thingscrum master

As a person: confidence in myself. Trust the process. It’s ok not to know.

As a professional: observe and listen, you don’t need to have the solution.
